Chemical Skin Peels

To look better and reverse the appearance of the aging process. The straight simple answer is the ‘Blue Peel.’ It is a one to four step application of blue solution mixed with TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid). These applications removes the thin surface layers of aged and damaged skin. These layers of dead skin cells exfoliate and are replaced by healthier ones allowing the skin’s own clarity and tightness to resurface.

Depending on the condition of the patient’s skin, a 1-4 coat of the blue peel solution is applied. Most people will not require sedation. At each level, the patient will experience a mild burning sensation that lasts 2-3 minutes. A mild bluish tint will remain on the skin, which should take an average of 7-10 days to heal.

Peeling the skin lightly in a controlled manner will not damage the skin. This allows Blue peels to be performed at 12 weeks interval until the desired effect is achieved. Annual blue peels assist in the long-term maintenance of skin health and fitness.

Make-up is not recommended for the first 7-10 days after treatment or until the skin has completely healed. The blue peel is ideal because it is controllable, economical and safer than any many other procedures. It allows the same results as other deeper peels. It is the simple solution to restoring tighter, smoother and younger-looking skin regardless of age, colour or skin type.
